Appreciating the kindness of others

I've come to really appreciate the people here at Pace that do whatever they can to help the students. Sometimes I think we all might forget what is done for us to keep things moving along.

Professors can be extremely accommodating when there is a serious issue. The people in the library? They're great. The people that clean are school never stop working.

We as students outnumber them incredibly but they keep things in spectacular shape. The caf workers are always smiling. Even during the hectic lunch hour! Most of the security guys always give us a pleasant "good morning!" I don't know if all universities are like this but our staff here is superb.

New Yorkers can get a bad attitude rap, that's not a secret. I come from California; I've heard it a lot. But there is no trace of that here. I was sitting in the caf the other day and realized that of the 9 hours I spend on campus daily, I do not receive an attitude! Not that this is shocking, it's nicely accepted.

I would like to simply express my gratitude to everyone for being nice. Too often kindness gets overlooked.
