The Good Guy features young New York romances

The Good Guy, a film starring Alexis Bledel, Scott Porter and Bryan Greenberg, starts out with a scene that is sure to make you think Beth (Bledel) has dumped her boyfriend, Tommy (Porter) for someone else. There isn’t much explanation as to why, but as the movie is narrated by Porter’s character, it seems that he is the perfect guy and Beth has left him heartbroken.

“Topdog/Underdog” has a one night performance at the University

The play “Topdog/Underdog” by Suzan-Lori Parks was performed at the Student Union on Feb.12 and was put on by the University theater group, Group Therapy. Directed by Benvolio Tomaiuolo, it stars David Givens as Lincoln and Matt Hammond as Booth.

Zombieland: Full of tons of humor and zombies

When the human race finally ceases to be, one thing will be abundantly clear: there will be lots and lots of zombies and it will be awesome. Zombieland, written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick and directed by Ruben Fleischer (Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory) is not your typical zombie film. Full of tons of humor and tons of zombies, this film will take you on a rollercoaster ride — literally  — killing zombies and generating laughter the entire time.

I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell, the movie adaptation of Tucker Max's book of same  name opens in theatres Sept. 25. The book consists of true stories, while the movie only includes some of these stories plus an additional plot line.

Moviegoers disappointed by this summer’s diverse selections

Over summer vacation, some people went to other countries, some religiously watched MTV's “16 and Pregnant” and some went to the movies. If you did the latter of the three, you probably found more entertainment in watching underage girls get knocked up than seeing the disappointing summer films Hollywood had to offer. While there were a few gems amongst the garbage, it's safe to say this summer was not the best for moviegoers.

Vampire phenomenon reaches the end of season two
